Clarifying Agent
Nucleating Agent
Sorbitol-based nucleating agent that sharply improves clarity and cycle time in polypropylene.
- Appearance
- White powder / granules
- Chemical Family
- Sorbitol-based nucleating agent
- Typical Use Level
- 0.1–0.3% by weight
Our Clarifying Agent is a sorbitol-derivative nucleating agent used in polypropylene homopolymer and random copolymer to dramatically reduce haze and improve optical clarity.
By promoting fine, uniform crystallization during cooling, it also speeds up cycle times in injection moulding, improving both part quality and production throughput.
Key Benefits
- Significantly reduces haze for near-transparent PP parts
- Improves gloss and overall optical quality
- Faster crystallization shortens injection moulding cycle time
- Improves stiffness and heat-deflection temperature
